It is your turn to be celebrated

It is your turn to be Celebrated

Anchor Scripture: Genesis 21:5-7

You have witnessed so many good things this year. People have come to share beautiful testimonies and you keep shedding tears in your closet, asking the question,  ‘when will it be my turn?

But I have good news for you today: all those tears are over and you shall not miss your season in Jesus name.

I have come to announce to you today that it is your turn to be celebrated;

1. To have a change of story. Jabez in 1Chronicles 4:9

2. To be brought to the limelight. It might be before that nobody ever recognised your existence but suddenly people will begin to take cognizance of you. In the bible you would have read the story of Joseph, a prisoner who suddenly became a prime minister. Mordecai  who was decorated by Haman, an enemy of Esther in Esther 6:10-11.

3. To Change status

4. To suddenly overcome one challenge or another. Long time sickness that could have ended up in death.

5. To be a wonder to yourself and to the world around you.

6. To gather people at a party in celebration of God’s faithfulness  .

Pls note: To be celebrated may be difficult if not totally impossible without;

1. Divine encounters like Moses who fled Egypt unannounced and came back as a celebrity. Exodus 3:2. Angel appeared to him in a flame of fire. Being born again is the first step to divine encounter.

2. Divine visitation.  Serah was divinely visited in Genesis 18:10 and long term barrenness was terminated.

3.  Divine intervention. The three Hebrew boys were not burnt by reason of divine intervention.  Daniel 3:23- 26. Verse 25 ” the king saw four men loose, walking in the midst of fire and were not hurt. The fourth is like the son of God. Your case cannot be closed until it is settled with God .

Steps to expedite your day of celebration

1. Steps of faith. Faith is key to expedite your day of celebration. Believed every word of prophecy concerning you. Genesis 17:4; The promised child came after 25 years.

Romans 4:19-21. “And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead when he was about hundred years old neither yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb. He staggered not at the promises of God through unbelief but was strong in faith giving glory to God. And being fully persuaded that what he had promised he was able also to perform”

Isaiah 34:16. Seek ye out of the book of the Lord and read: none of these shall fail and none shall lack her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded and his spirit it hath gathered them.

It takes putting your faith to work, for you not to fail in marriage, business career etc. So you need to develop your faith in God.

2.  Keep your hope alive.  Romans 4:18 “Who against hope believed in hope that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken. No matter the situation, keep your hope alive. There’s hope for a tree. Job 14:7-9.

3.  Be prepared for it.  What you’re not prepared for can never be experienced. Eg: Waiting mothers who bought baby items, singles ‘Toosh up’ don’t be too religious, men are moved by what they see.

 4.  Deal with bitterness, envy and  Jealousy. These are not only killers but  killers of days of celebration. Genesis 29:31. ” When God saw that Leah was hated,  He opened her womb but Racheal was barren. Who knows, Rachel might have been barren for many years because of her hatred for her sister.

 5. Let go of offenses. Have the heart to forgive and forget. Unforgiveness is a robber. Don’t let it rob you of your day of joy. Until Rachel let go of hatred and offences, God never opened her womb. Leah had six sons and a daughter before Rachel could conceive and be celebrated. Genesis    30: 15. Settle any dispute so you won’t miss your day of celebration.

6. Be happy with those who are rejoicing. What you fail to celebrate in the life of others can never become a testimony to you.

7. Sow good seed to the life of others as a point of contact to your testimony. Abraham entertained angels and barrenness was broken.  Genesis 18:1- 10.  In verse 10 God said ” I will certainly return unto thee and Sarah thy wife shall have a son.
8. Be ready to fight for it. Mathew 12:11. Light affliction should only be for a moment  2Corinthians 4:17, don’t continue to watch, rise up and fight for it. Be sensitive to rise up in prayer to fight for it.
